Dear Students,

I still need some permission forms and money for our two field trips. The deadline is Thurs. Oct. 30, 2008. If you do not have those handed in you will not be going on the trips and there will be a work package at the school for you to do.

Get your read-a-louds and agendas signed. Some of you still have questions to finish in Language Power and Actions and Reactions. I am checking homework tomorrow and if it is not finished you will be staying in at lunch to do it.

To the parent who asked me a question about their daughter. I can't send an email back to you unless I have your email address. You are welcome to give me your email address so that I can keep in contact with you that way. It is hard to get in contact with some parents/guardians by phone, so if any other parent or guardian would like to give me their email addresses I can contact you that way.
Your daughter is doing well in the class and has handed in everything that she needs to.

Today we are trying out sitting in pairs in the classroom. I am hoping that students will be able to help each other with math. Sometimes students understand better when a classmate explains things to them. If the students think that they have more time to socialize then they will sit by themselves.

Homework for tonight is:

• Literacy Power-Pages 30-31 (A to D)
• Rough Draft-Horror Story
• Math- Pages 118 to 119- #4 and #5

To my wonderful Science students:

I am still waiting for some 3D Cell Model Projects and a "Fluids" title page. Remember that your report card marks are due soon and I don't want to have to give you a "0" for incomplete work. They don't take long to do. Please see me for any questions that you have.
