Dear Students,

I still need some permission forms and money for our two field trips. The deadline is Thurs. Oct. 30, 2008. If you do not have those handed in you will not be going on the trips and there will be a work package at the school for you to do.

Get your read-a-louds and agendas signed. Some of you still have questions to finish in Language Power and Actions and Reactions. I am checking homework tomorrow and if it is not finished you will be staying in at lunch to do it.

Have a good night! Hopefully we won't wake up to snow!
To the parent who asked me a question about their daughter. I can't send an email back to you unless I have your email address. You are welcome to give me your email address so that I can keep in contact with you that way. It is hard to get in contact with some parents/guardians by phone, so if any other parent or guardian would like to give me their email addresses I can contact you that way.
Your daughter is doing well in the class and has handed in everything that she needs to.

Monday, October 27, 2008

Today we are trying out sitting in pairs in the classroom. I am hoping that students will be able to help each other with math. Hello:
I would like to remind everyone of everything that is due this week:
  • an autobiography
  • poster on the effects of war
  • book report
  • math booklets

If you have any questions please come and see me.

Hello Everyone,

I hope that all of you are having a good night and getting your homework done. You will see on the chalkboard a list of names of the students who need to get their work to me ASAP. Remember to bring in your picture orders and money tomorrow. Mrs. Sloan
